Paul J. Farrell is the managing partner and the founder of THE FARRELL LAW FIRM, P.C.

Mr. Farrell is a registered Patent Attorney and has over twenty years of continuous experience practicing before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of the State of New York State and Federal Courts in New York. He received his law degree from Brooklyn Law School and was awarded a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College.

His practice focuses on all phases of patent, trademark and copyright prosecution, litigation and related matters. The fields of technology in which Mr. Farrell has prosecuted and obtained patents include wireless telecommunication systems including CDMA, TDMA, FDMA, OFDM, OFDMA, and 3G and 4G systems; appliance technology including electronic control systems; and electrical power transmission systems. In the mechanical arts, Mr. Farrell has prosecuted and obtained patents for medical devices, lighting devices and home appliances.

Mr. Farrell was formerly associated with Curtis, Morris and Safford (NYC) and Scully, Scott, Murphy and Presser, and was formerly a partner at Dilworth & Barrese, P.C. He was also an Engineer with Underwriters Laboratories, Inc., and an Officer of the Board of Directors of the American Syringomyelia Alliance Project (2005-2007). He is currently a Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chiari & Syringomyelia Foundation, Inc. (www.csfinfo.org). He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association, and New York Intellectual Property Law Association.
