Jaesung Jang is a patent agent with THE FARRELL LAW FIRM, P.C.

Mr. Jang was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunication & Information Engineering degree from Korea Aerospace University (Seoul, Korea).

Mr. Jang attained his LLM degree from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in February 2019.

Mr. Jang is proficient in technology fields that include wired and wireless telecommunications systems, including CDMA, TDMA, FDMA, OFDM, OFDMA, and 3G, 4G and 5G systems, and consumer electronics, computer software, and RFID systems.

Prior to joining The Farrell Law Firm, P.C., Mr. Jang was for nineteen years employed by Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., most recently as Principal Patent Engineer for the Intellectual Property Team of the Telecommunications Network Business.

As Principal Patent Engineer for Samsung, Mr. Jang conducted technical meetings regarding patent enforcement issues, conducted patent licensing negotiations, monitored competitor activity in regard to patent enforcement and licensing activity, and oversaw development of new intellectual property applications, both in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Jang participated in standard-setting meetings for wireless 3GPP, 3GPP2 and LTE Telecommunication Standards. Mr. Jang is an inventor of numerous U.S. patents and pending patent applications.
